Introduction
- Bronze:This is a generic term for tin bronze, phosphor bronze, and leaded tin bronze, with copper
and tin used as subjects. With easy casting properties and fine cast surfaces, it has good
resistance to pressure, wear, and corrosion.
- Phosphor bronze:This is a ternary alloy using copper as a main ingredient, tin (Sn) is added, as
well as phosphorous (P) for deoxidization. It is a work-hardened copper alloy material – which
simply means the higher the amount of tin and machining rate, the the stronger it gets.
- Leaded tin bronze:This is suitable for a bearing with high surface pressure.
- High tensile brass:it is made by adding aluminum, iron, nickel, manganese and tin to 4:6 brass,
which results in improved mechanical properties and anticorrosion.
- Aluminum bronze:This has particularly high strength as well as good resistance to corrosion
and wear.
Features
- Bronze:This is used in bearings, sleeves, bushings, side scuttles for vessels with gears, small
pump components, etc. It has excellent machinability, solderability, and resistance to pressure,
wear, and corrosion.
- Phosphor bronze:This is used in gears, hydraulic cylinders, liners, rolls for papermaking, sleeve
components, etc., with good anticorrosion and anti-wear properties and high electric conductivity
as well as easy plating.
- Leaded tin bronze:This is used in mid & high speed/high load bearings, bearings for vehicles
and engines, and sliding components, etc.; it is suitable for a bearing whose surface pressure is
high; and it has excellent intimacy and scouring resistance.
- High tensile brass:This is used in bearings, valve sheets, levers, arms, gears, design
components for vessels, hydraulic cylinders, etc. It has strong and tough with excellent
anticorrosion properties even under high loads.
- Aluminum bronze:This is used in vessel propellers, gears, bushes, bolts, nuts, bearings,
mechanical components for food processing, etc. Also, it is very strong with a high resistance to
bending along with excellent anticorrosion, thermal resistance, anti-wear, and low-temperature
properties.
